Biography
Jack Zhongcheng Zhang (Ph.D.) graduated from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), China. He is an acupuncturist and a Chinese medicine practitioner. Jack was the chief acupuncture physician of the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of China and the director of the traditional Chinese therapy department. He was a professor at Guangzhou University of TCM and also taught Ph.D. students as a tutor in China.
Jack has practised, taught and researched clinical traditional Chinese acupuncture for more than 30 years. Because of his outstanding work, he was named China’s top 100 Outstanding Youth Chinese Medicine Practitioner in 2008. While working in China, Jack's medical treatments were very effective and he especially cared about his patients. There were a huge number of patients (more than 100 each day) seeking Jack’s help from all over the world, including China, Hong Kong, America, Canada, Australia and the Middle East. Dr. Zhang had been commissioned to many countries, including Canada, to treat patients on many occasions. He was also sought after by newspaper publishers and various television channels for special coverage in Guangzhou, China. Jack currently has a lot of enthusiastic followers on the Internet, these followers are also his patients.
After immigrating to Canada in 2011, he established the Kindness Acupuncture Center, which has treated more than 30,000 patients. The patients who came here from Toronto to New York, Hawaii, Australia, etc. Jack Zhongcheng Zhang is registered under the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.
Jack specializes in the following:
1) Pain relief - such as headaches, neck and back pain, tennis elbow, gout, frozen shoulder, acute sprain
2) Endocrine and metabolic issues - such as diabetes, metabolic syndrome, menopausal syndrome, gout,
hyperuricemia. There are currently hundreds of cases that have shown significant efficacy in Toronto
3) Insomnia, anxiety, depression etc
4) Obesity – average weight loss per treatment cycle is 10 to 40 Lbs (some patients experienced weight loss of approximately 100 Lbs, countless patients experienced weight loss of 20 to 40 Lbs)
5) Stroke sequelae and facial paralysis rehabilitation - acupuncture has shown significant benefits during stroke recovery, better results if treated early
