Biography

Ted's educational background and professional experience reflect his profound understanding and outstanding contributions in the field of integrating Chinese and Western medicine. Graduating from Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a major in acupuncture and tuina, Ted began his career in the pediatric rehabilitation department of Xuchang Municipal Hospital, where he utilized his knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine to assist in the recovery of children from injuries. He studied intensively at Kaifeng Municipal Hospital focusing on the treatment of acute and chronic pain, sprains, strains, and chronic fatigue through tuina and the preparation of traditional Chinese medicine plasters.


To further expand his horizons and capabilities in the medical field, Ted pursued full-time studies at Pharma-Medical Science College of Canada, focusing on Western medical theory and practice. Here, he not only delved into the fundamentals of Western medicine but also conducted in-depth research into advanced techniques and methods of massage therapy. Throughout his studies, he demonstrated high professional integrity and a meticulous approach to learning, particularly excelling in the field of massage therapy with his extraordinary skills and deep understanding of relieving muscle tension, promoting blood circulation, and enhancing bodily functions.


Ted's efforts and professional level were officially recognized in 2023 when he successfully became a registered massage therapist (RMT) in Ontario. This milestone not only affirmed his skills in Western medicine but also marked a new height in his professional capability to integrate Chinese and Western medicine. As a registered massage therapist, Ted applies his knowledge and skills from both Chinese and Western medical traditions in practice, providing patients with high-level, personalized treatment services. His work has significantly improved the quality of life for his patients and has provided valuable practical experience and a model for the integration of Chinese and Western medical treatments, earning high praise and respect from both patients and peers.
